Over the past 20 years we have been developing flute designs for the needs of modern musicians. The design we use was developed from a simple system flute by Rudall and Rose,. We expanded the bore to give better volume and projection. Each flute is carefully tuned by hand and has a choice of embouchure hole options to suit different players.
We produce both un-keyed flutes and flutes with up to 8, block mounted keys and a tuning slide in the head joint.

We source African Blackwood from a company called Sound and Fair who produce sustainably grown, fairly traded timber for musical instrument manufacture.
